Dear members, constant insistence of Archeological Survey of India regarding the alleged dinosaur bone find under the community swimming pool is well known to all. In this light, the harrying insistence of ASI to acquire the swimming pool area as an archeological dig is most disturbing, when a panel of old and distinguished retired archeologists (hired by the community) has clearly indicated that the bone are old dog bones. The matter has come to a head last week and we have filed a litigation on ASI. Personally speaking, I am rather frustrated by constant insistence of ASI on the matter. We need to take the issue up very strongly and approach Govt. of India at the highest level as we fight this litigation in court.

I absolutely concur with Wg. Cdr., if ASI should see it fit, they can take their dog bones and leave the community alone. We have done a right thing to file this litigation. At no cost can we let ASI dig up our swimming pool once again, they have already done it once. The maintenance bills are going higher with the repair charges of the pool. In addition, my geriatric father-in-law fell into the hole they had dug and have broken his leg, not that I am too concerned about that but the old gentleman is now parked at my place for long. This insistence on the digging thing by ASI must stop.
